The Spirit of Family Service runs deep...and our legacy has grown stronger for over 50 years. While we remain focused on the present, we realize we must keep advancing to deliver the best programs and services to the McHenry County community. The threats of further funding cuts has had a negative impact in behavioral health. However, we must continue to react positively and proactively with thoughtful, creative and innovative ways in delivering hope, recovery and health, using evidence based practices.

This past month marked the beginning of on-site primary care services to McHenry County residents through a partnership with Greater Elgin Family Care Center, which is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The integrating of primary care into settings such as ours, allows us to meet the needs of the whole person.
