Adolescent Substance Abuse ProgramAdolescent Substance Abuse Program (ASAP)
Our Mission of “Helping People Help Themselves,” is achieved by intervening as early as possible.
Population Served: Youth (grades 5-12) and their families, at risk for substance abuse and mental health services.
Our Goal – is to provide each adolescent with a comprehensive behavioral health assessment so we are able to individualize services to best fit the needs of the adolescent.
Services – Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessment, Family Therapy, Family Education Group, Group Therapy, Drug Screening, Medical or Psychiatric support and Individualized Treatment Plan.
Our Philosophy is that alcoholism and chemical dependence are chronic progressive diseases that effect emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. We believe that young people need to be educated on these risks and understand the need to commit to a chemical free life style.
Professional Staff – Our clinical team offers a multi disciplinary approach that includes psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, certified substance abuse counselors, and professional nursing staff, under the direction of the medical director. The entire teams works to provide caring support and professional expertise so that each individual can achieve and maintain sobriety in the least restrictive environment of care. For many, successful treatment does not require time lost from work or having to leave home. |
